Income Officer

A Housing Association based in East London is looking for an experienced Income Officer to join their team on a 6 Month contract basis.

Job Purpose:

• Liasing with the Neighbourhood Teams and working daily with external organisations such as debt advice agenices, credit unions and Law Centres.
• Work to conduct all relevant operational and legal processes to ensure current tenant housing rental income is maximised in line with staturoy regulations and performance indicators.

Key Repsonsibilites:

• Manage a patch of rent accounts and be the first point of contact for residents.
• Maximise income through early intervention as soon as rent accounts are in arrears.
• Visit residents in their homes and complete follow up actions where issues are identified such as reapirs.
• Attend court hearings with the Solicitor to be a witness for appropriate cases.
