Roofers Mate

SUMMARY OF ROLE

We client is looking for an experienced Roofer s mate to work with a roofer in the Woking area, you must be hard working, have good initiative, must be polite, presentable, and have a good attitude, have respect within tenants properties, this will be for a social housing contract, must have a DBS, or be certain one will be cleared when carried out.

You will be carrying out roofing repairs on pitched / flat roofs, possible for full roof installations but mainly re-active maintenance, must live within the Woking area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help out the roofer with materials, tools, repairs, installs
• Set up site, clear down site to health & safety requirements
• Have initiative to investigate repairs, and carry out the work
• Asset and maintenance flat and pitched roofs
• Have a good attitude and respect tenants proprieties.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Manual handling, good fitness with lifting and shifting
• The ability to use tools / power tools
• Hard worker and reliable
• Working at height

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE

• 2 years within a labouring construction position

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• PASMA / TETRA trained (advantageous)
• Full current driving licence
• A DBS check required, or will be carried out
