Location: Slough, South UK (Travel Required)

Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum

Position Overview:

Our client is a commercial building maintenance company, seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to join their team.

Based in the Slough/Reading or surrounding area with travel into London, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing their operations and service delivery while ensuring the highest standards.

Role includes:

• Managing existing client relationships.
• Developing and seeking new client opportunities.
• Developing current supplier and contractor base.
• Building and managing in-house team.
• Quoting and invoicing works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely completion of client works and cost-effective solutions.
• Use current company processes and systems.
• Travel across the South of the UK to various sites as required.
• Handle escalated issues and provide effective problem-solving solutions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and teamwork within your team.
• Maintain computer literacy to effectively utilise software and tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in the maintenance/facility management business is essential.
• Strong financial management skills and budgetary experience.
• Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel extensively when required.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.
• Very organised.
• Effective/proactive time management.
• Willingness to take ownership and lead by example.
