The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school's supportive team on a full-time basis. You will be working within the school's SEN classrooms and/or the specialist provision on site, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with EHCPs in both mainstream and SEN settings
• Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering personalised learning plans
• Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
• Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs
• Provide emotional and social support to pupils throughout the day

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, patient, and resilient approach
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential)
