Are you passionate about supporting children with autism in their early years?We are seeking a nurturing, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our ARPwithin a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Peckham.This is a Reception-based role, working with children aged 4-5 who have a range of social communication and learning needs. You will play a vital part in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
About the Role: - Provide 1:1 and small group support for Reception pupils with autism.
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities.
- Use visual supports, structured routines, and sensory strategies.
- Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment.
We're Looking for Someone Who: - Has experience or strong interest in working with children with autism.
- Is calm, patient, and able to respond flexibly to children's needs.
- Works well in a team and communicates clearly with staff and families.
