Speech and Language Assistant - What the Role Involves

• Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with speech, language, and communication needs
• Assisting in delivering targeted interventions designed to improve communication skills
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to monitor pupil progress
• Supporting classroom management and engagement during learning activities
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to pupil reports
• Interviews to begin the week commencing ASAP

Speech and Language Assistant - What the School is Looking ForWe are seeking proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support children's speech and language development. A 2:1 or First Class degree from a top 30 UK university is preferred, and previous experience working with children is highly valued. • General TA / SEN TA roles: £105 - £130 per day, (term-time only)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term term-time only
• Potential for future teacher training or contract extensions following a successful placement
