Warehouse Operative (Forklift Licence Essential)

Hours: 11:30 - 20:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Monday to friday

Are you proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused? We're looking for a confident and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our client dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is key to ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient operation of warehouse functions - from goods-in to order fulfilment and outbound deliveries.

You must hold a current forklift licence (Counterbalance and Reach) to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock organization
• Load/unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment
• Scan, track, and accurately inventory incoming and outgoing items
• Process new stock, verifying against manifest documents
• Inspect and report on damaged or missing items
• Store, label, and stage goods for easy identification and dispatch
• Fulfil and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools, machinery, and work areas
• Comply with all health & safety guidelines and warehouse SOPs
• Support evening warehouse operations and collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance & Reach)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-in role
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use standard warehouse IT systems
• A dependable, safety-conscious work ethic
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
