Be Doing in the Role:

ü Plan and deliver lessons across the National Curriculum, including subjects like literacy, numeracy, science, and humanities.

ü Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

ü Create and maintain a positive classroom environment, organising displays and resources to support learning.

ü Implement inclusive teaching practices, catering to the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Essential Qualifications:

ü Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or equivalent recognised teaching qualification in the UK

ü Passion for inclusive education, with a calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour and classroom management

ü Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), A one-year course that includes both academic study and practical classroom experience, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

ü GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Science, minimum grade 4 (C)
