This Senior Boiler Technician role working with a global Blue Chip Manufacturing Client and world leading manufacturer looking for a skilled Steam Boiler Technician or Mechanical Pressure Systems Engineer to join our team based in the Tilbury area.

Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer (Pressure Systems)

• Repairing and installing industrial Boilers and Pressurised Vessels systems.
• Supporting a 24/7 operation to provide steam volume and quality to enable operations to meet their production plan.
• Attending boiler emergencies and fixing any issues as a priority
• Working with the wider engineering team
• Building and managing good relationships with third party contractors

The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Engineer (Pressure Systems)

• Time served Apprenticeship trained engineer/ONC or above.
• Must be BOAS qualified to minimum Level 2.
• Skilled with restorative and PPM activities on industrial steam boilers.
• Ideally with a good knowledge of Autoclave and advanced steam fundamentals.
• Experience working in heavy industrial environments with boilers, vessels and steam.
• A Good understanding of compliance when dealing with industrial boiler systems.
