Mechanical Technician - Exciting Engineering Opportunity

Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for building and troubleshooting complex machinery? We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team, working on the design, assembly, and commissioning of advanced filling and packaging lines for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

About the Role

This is a varied and exciting role where no two days are the same. You will be involved in:

• Fitting and assembling equipment and enclosures on the factory floor
• Conducting trials and testing machinery for performance and quality
• Piping, testing, and fault-finding pneumatic logic circuits
• Commissioning, servicing, and supporting machinery at customer sites (occasional travel required)

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong practical engineering skills, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Familiarity with pneumatics and installation/commissioning work at customer sites (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Recognised engineering certification or completed apprenticeship
• Commitment to health and safety standards
