I'm working exclusively with a highly respected property consultancy that is expanding its commercial agency team in their Cambridge city centre office. As part of this growth, we're seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Agency Surveyor to take a leading role within their established and successful agency department.

The Opportunity

In this senior role, you'll be at the forefront of the firm's commercial agency service across Cambridge and the wider region. You will:

• Lead on sales, lettings, and acquisitions
• Manage a strong, loyal, and diverse client base - including landlords, investors, developers, and occupiers
• Play a key role in developing the team and expanding the firm's market presence
• Help shape the strategic direction of the agency department

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• MRICS qualification
• A proven track record in commercial agency (minimum 5 years), ideally with experience in the Cambridge market
• Strong client facing confidence, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to business development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• The ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the team

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial agency instructions (sales, lettings, acquisitions)
• Generate new business and foster long term client relationships
• Deliver market appraisals, marketing strategies, and negotiation work
• Provide strategic advice on disposals and acquisitions
• Identify opportunities for departmental growth
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Keep up to date with local market trends, investment activity, and legislation
