With Profits Actuary

Our L+P client are seeking two experienced and qualified actuaries to support business-as-usual and project work within the With-Profits team. These are short-term roles to provide immediate support while permanent recruitment is underway.

• Lead and support tasks related to With-Profits Asset-Liability Management (ALM).
• Contribute to financial reporting and valuation activities for With-Profits funds.
• Provide actuarial input into project work, including regulatory change, model development, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including finance, risk, and investment teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver high-quality analysis and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in With-Profits ALM or With-Profits financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of UK life insurance products and regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
