Junior Export Operator - Sea Freight

Up to £30,000 per annum

Are you looking to take the next step in your logistics career within a thriving sea freight team? We're working with a well-established freight forwarder who is seeking a motivated Junior Export Operator to join their busy Tilbury office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some exposure to the logistics or shipping industry who's eager to build a long-term career in international exports.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with the preparation of export documentation (including Bills of Lading, customs entries, and commercial invoices)

• Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate export shipments

• Ensuring compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and customer requirements

• Tracking and monitoring cargo movements to provide regular updates to clients

• Supporting the senior export team with daily administration and customer service tasks

• Handling data entry and maintaining accurate shipment records on the internal system

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working within the logistics or shipping industry

• A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills

• Excellent communication - confident dealing with customers and third-party suppliers

• IT proficiency, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook)

• A proactive approach and eagerness to learn within a supportive freight forwarding environment
