About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one or group support to students with special educational needs, including those with SEMH.
• Assisting in creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting teachers in delivering personalised education plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Building positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and independence.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an SEMH or SEN setting is preferable.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
