Location: Grays Shift Patterns:

• Early: 06:00-14:00
• Late: 14:00-22:00
• Night: 22:00-06:00

Salary: £35,000 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to join our client's team. You'll be responsible for operating material handling equipment and using our Stock Control System to manage finished goods efficiently and safely in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance, reach, and electric pallet trucks to move, store, pick, and load goods
• Perform daily equipment checks and report faults
• Use stock control systems via truck-mounted tablets or PCs
• Label products and complete documentation accurately
• Conduct hygiene checks and product inspections
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Participate in stock takes
• Communicate effectively across shifts and departments
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach truck licences
• GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
