Enclosing Machine Operator

We are a well-established and fast-growing print and mail services company based in Dagenham. With a reputation for high-quality delivery and operational excellence, we are looking to expand our production team with experienced Enclosing Machine Operators.

Role Overview:As an Enclosing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated enclosing machinery to ensure timely and accurate mail production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor enclosing machines

• Set up machinery to accommodate specific job requirements.

• Feed, load, and check printed materials and envelopes.

• Perform routine quality checks to ensure output accuracy and consistency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimise downtime.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

• Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet daily targets.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience operating enclosing or mailing machines (Buhrs, Kern, or similar) is essential.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

• Good communication skills and a strong team ethic.

• Flexibility to work different shifts if required.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of direct mail or print & fulfilment industry.

• Basic computer skills for job tracking and reporting.
