Job Title: Financial Crime Compliance Associate

Location: London, Bristol, or High Wycombe (Hybrid)

The TeamOur client's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Team is a key component of their wider risk management function, overseeing client onboarding and ongoing regulatory compliance.

The RoleThis role supports the execution of new client onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with AML regulations. The successful candidate will work from one of three UK offices and must be able to commute to the London office 2-3 times per month (travel costs covered). Additional office days will be at the designated home office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting due diligence on new clients in line with AML regulations.

  • Researching third-party systems and tools for KYC procedures and risk assessment.

  • Completing KYC documentation and analysis to validate and assess client risk.

  • Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to obtain missing or non-public information.

  • Supporting ongoing KYC monitoring processes and escalating where required.

About YouOur client is seeking a candidate with:

  • At least 2 years' experience in client onboarding or CDD, in professional services.

  • Strong knowledge of KYC/AML procedures.

  • Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple systems.

  • Strong written, numerical, and analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel minimum).
