The starting salary for this position is £24,951 per annum, based on working 21.6 hours per week (pro rata from the full time salary of £41,585 for 36 hours per week).
We have a great opportunity to join our CVD & Cancer Prevention team as a Public Health Development Worker with a focus on falls prevention and healthy ageing. You will join a team that is supportive and motivating and encourages personal and professional development.
We support hybrid working with the right balance. We come together in person for 2 days per week on average (40 % of the working week) and support working from home the rest of the time.

About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Public Health Development Worker to support our Falls Prevention & Healthy Ageing agenda which will form part of the wider Live Longer Better Programme. This role is central to improving outcomes for older adults across the system by coordinating partnerships, strengthening referral pathways, supporting the management of contracts, and contributing to evidence-based programme development.
You will work closely with the Senior Public Health Lead to deliver key priorities, ensuring the development, implementation and evaluation of effective falls prevention initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical, project management and partnership-building skills who is passionate about reducing health inequalities and enhancing quality of life for older adults.
