Joshua Robert are recruiting on behalf of a Housing Association in London, on the lookout for a Repairs Manager to join their team. This is avital position for the organisation, to ensure the organisation delivers on their Repairs Obligations and ensuing resident satisfaction.
Main Duties: Develop and implement a robust performance management framework to oversee repairs and voids, ensuring consistent and effective service delivery.
- Establish and maintain systems for collecting and analysing customer feedback, using insights to drive service improvements and enhance satisfaction.
- Recommend, manage, and monitor the annual repairs and voids budget, ensuring expenditure aligns with financial targets and corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
- Conduct regular quality checks on completed and outstanding repairs, ensuring all work meets the organisation s standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain and review an approved list of contractors, negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and taking action to address underperformance.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of all repairs and voids data using IT systems, providing monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee the consistent application of policies and procedures related to repairs and voids, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Apply LEAN techniques to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improving service delivery and focusing on core customer needs.
- Lead efforts to meet and exceed key performance targets, including response times for emergencies and non-emergencies, first-time fix rates, and void turnaround times.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and residents to build strong working relationships, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational goals.
