About the role of Assistant Estimator
We are seeking an ambitious and detail orientated Assistant Estimator to join our Estimating team. As Assistant Estimator, you will be assisting in preparing tender submissions, estimating costs, and managing project budgets. The business work mainly across the Heritage and High end residential sectors, but do also work across the Commercial and Hotel sectors, working on projects valued between 250,000 to 10m. You will be joining a team of 3 Estimators, two Senior and one Trainee currently in the business. The company have an excellent staff retention rate and tend to keep staff for very long periods of time

Responsibilities for Assistant Estimator
Assist in preparing tender submissions, including estimating costs, gathering information, and coordinating with the project team
Analyse and review tender documents, contracts, and project specifications
Supply chain management
Conduct site visits and gather information to inform Estimates
Develop & maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
Liaising with the Project Manager and Contracts manager on programmes

Requirements for Assistant Estimator
This is where you would list any qualifications or skills needed for the role. You can also add desired qualities if you would like.
Experience in either high end residential projects, London Estate or Heritage projects
Open to taking someone from a drylining/flooring background
Open to taking someone who has had more of a QS background but had some Estimating experience along the way
Need to have had some Estimating experience
Hard working & determined to get results
Able to work well in a team & independently
Social & outgoing

What we offer for Assistant Estimator
30k - 50k (depending on level of experience)
Hours 8am - 5pm
