Caretaker

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm

We're seeking a dependable and practical Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of a residential building in ME4. This full-time role involves cleaning communal areas, handling minor repairs, and ensuring the property remains safe, tidy, and well-presented. You'll work independently with clear responsibilities and the support of a wider property management team

• Clean and maintain communal areas to a high standard
• Carry out minor repairs in flats (e.g. mastic, grout, plumbing, electrical, light bulbs, door security)
• Diagnose appliance issues and test heating/hot water systems
• Repair or replace fixtures and fittings
• Perform lock changes as needed
• Litter pick external areas when required
• Maintain bin areas and ensure proper rubbish disposal

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management
• Basic plumbing and electrical repair skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach
