The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting the commercial and site teams to ensure cost control and financial efficiency across industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

- Assist in managing the commercial aspects of industrial construction projects.
- Support with cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
- Help assess and process subcontractor payments.
- Assist in managing variations, change orders, and final accounts.
- Support in conducting risk assessments and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Provide support in preparing cost reports and financial updates.

What We Are Looking for from the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

- Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or relevant commercial role in construction.
- Understanding of JCT & NEC contracts (preferred).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
