Shipping Operations Assistant - Medway (office based - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm)

Typical daily duties include:-

Making and taking bookings. Streamlining and monitoring shipments from start to finish, both inbound & outbound.

Assisting in Pricing, Purchasing and Shipping Documentation.

Liaising with Ports, overseas Vessel agents and Transporters.

Talking to the ships every day, issuing voyage instructions, appointing agents, and checking PDA's, booking bunkers, invoicing and some scheduling.

Good communication and people skills essential.
