They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to lead the tax advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws, excellent client management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities and requirements:

• Manage and oversee the tax advisory team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Provide specialist tax advice to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of any implications.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to support client needs and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns and reports.
• Represent clients in dealings with tax authorities and during audits.
• Mentor and develop junior tax staff, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification or working towards one (CTA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax advisory or a similar role within an accountancy practice.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
