Potter Raper, a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy, is expanding its Quantity Surveying team to support exciting, large-scale projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to take the next step in their career. We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our Beckenham office. You ll work on projects ranging from £500,000 refurbishments to £250 million new builds, with the autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating with a diverse and inclusive team. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and contracts for projects across residential, educational, and commercial sectors.
• Conducting cost analysis, procurement, and value engineering.
• Managing tender processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitoring project costs and variations, preparing regular reports, and advising clients on financial risks.
• Conducting site visits, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Junior Quantity Surveyor or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor within projects of varying value.
• Strong cost management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with either consultancy or main contractor would be considered.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to commute to the Beckenham office (SE London/Kent).
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus annual profit related bonus.
Location: Beckenham office (hybrid working model).
Hours: Full-time, flexible working hours.
