Newly Qualified Accountant

An award-winning and modern firm of Accountants seeks to add a Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) to their team in the Purley area. Reporting to the Directors, you will work with the team to deliver exceptional service to the growing client base, typically SME companies from a range of industries.

You will be tech savvy with experience of working with a cloud-based package, such as Xero or QuickBooks.

Duties will include:

• Production of annual accounts for small, limited companies and sole traders
• Assisting with self-assessment Tax Returns
• Reviewing Bookkeeping and completing VAT checks
• Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
• Plenty of direct client interaction

Skills required:

• Excellent working knowledge of Xero or other cloud-based packages.
• Sound MS office / Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience of working for a firm of accountants and dealing with company and self-employed accounts.

Location

Based in the Purley area, this role is commutable from Reigate, Redhill, Epsom, Croydon, Sutton, Caterham, Banstead, Coulsdon and surrounding areas.
