We are seeking a talented Health and Safety Manager for a newly created position that will play a key role in supporting the organisation's ambitious growth plans. In this dynamic role, you will lead the implementation of robust HSEQ systems and processes while providing expert operational health and safety guidance across multiple sites. Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Implementing, developing and reviewing the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001)
• Conducting health and safety incident investigations to identify root cause and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence
• Keeping updated with key changes to legislation and ensuring the organisation remains compliant
• Engaging with senior managers and external stakeholders ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical health and safety related enquires
• Continually developing and reviewing the health and safety management system in line with industry best practice
• Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance, and keeping updated with key changes to legislation

The successful Health and Safety Manager candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within utilities
• A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations
• A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and ideally a member of IOSH status
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
