Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a social housing company in the London area
who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team, to
maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for our employees, contractors,
and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across various sites to identify
potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Provide advice and guidance on health and safety best practices and legal
requirements.
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to
ensure they meet current regulations.
Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring that root causes are identified, and
corrective actions are taken.
Deliver health and safety training programs to staff and contractors.
Keep up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and industry best
practices.
Prepare and maintain health and safety reports and documentation.
Support in the preparation of safety and emergency response plans.
Promote and encourage a positive health and safety culture across the business.

Key Knowledge:

• Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally in social housing
• A NEBOSH National Diploma or General/ Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
• Technical or graduate membership of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, challenging environments.
