BGIUK ('Bupa Global, India & UK) is one of Bupa's three Market Units. Our other market units are 'ASPAC' (Asia Pacific) and 'ELA' (Europe, Latin America).
You will provide leadership and strategic direction to our clinical governance agenda across both provision and insurance, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care. This role is integral to our mission, driving customer retention and growth by maintaining high standards of clinical safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of a Clinical Governance strategy for the BGIUK market unit
Develop and embed best-practice clinical governance frameworks
Act as the clinical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Manage clinical governance team to meet policy requirements.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements
Oversee risk processes, Integrated Management System and SAI 360.
Lead the clinical governance agenda
Manage the clinical risk register and oversee incident reporting and investigation.
Chair and manage the Clinical Governance Committee and prepare Board level papers.
What We're Looking For
Medical Doctor with significant clinical practice & governance experience
Excellent healthcare regulatory requirement knowledge, experience in shaping responses to regulatory changes.
Professional clinical and risk qualification or relevant degree with extensive post-qualification experience.
Strong understanding of clinical risk, control, and regulation
Proven track record in clinical quality assurance and risk mitigation.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Experience in people management and leading change
