HIU Service & Repair Engineer

Our client, an established Building Integration company, is currently recruiting a HIU Service and Repair Engineer to join their Service and Repair team. The HIU Service and Repair Engineer will be responsible for performing services and repairs on a range of Plant rooms and substations.

Key Responsibilities for the HIU Service and Repair Engineer:

• Completion of planned preventative maintenance activities in line with company maintenance schedules
• Servicing HIUs and repair works
• Completion of fault finding and repairs to HIU's whilst working on the on-call rota
• Attend reactive callouts to sites to reinstate heat and resolve HIU failures
• Take part in an on-call rota and attend callouts (typically 1 week in 4)

Skills Required for the HIU Service and Repair Engineer:

• 1+ years of experience working as a HIU service engineer
• Knowledge of heat network energy centres and plantrooms.
• Able to read technical drawings e.g., P&IDs & mechanical schematics
• Full UK driving license (valid for at least 12 months)
• Strong communication skills
