Role Overview

As School Business Manager, you will work closely with the Headteacher and governors, leading and managing key areas of the school's operations, including:

Financial planning, monitoring, and budget management.
HR and personnel administration.
Premises and facilities management.
Health & Safety compliance.
Procurement and contract negotiation.

Strategic planning and support for school improvement.

You will play a vital role in shaping the long-term vision of the school, ensuring resources are used effectively to benefit all pupils.

Candidate Requirements School Business Manager, Tower Hamlets:

We are looking for a professional who:

Has proven experience in financial and operational management, ideally within an educational setting.
Holds a recognised school business management qualification (e.g. DSBM, CSBM) or equivalent.
Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Understands school finance, HR, and compliance processes.
Is proactive, strategic, and solutions-focused.
