Senior Manager - IFRS17 - Big 4 Accountancy Exp

Our Insurance client is seeking a specialist in IFRS17 who is at Senior Manager level

Support the Head of IFRS 17 in coordinating the IFRS 17 production process and delivering the Group s IFRS 17 result, across Finance, Actuarial, and Data and Technology. • Be a key IFRS 17 SME for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Fairfax, PwC). IFRS 17 Technical • Maintain and update the suite of IFRS 17 accounting policy papers. • Provide IFRS17 accounting advice within the group, including assessment the treatment of new insurance and reinsurance contracts.

• Qualified Accountant with significant post-qualification experience; preferably ACA or equivalent with Big 4 background.
• Experience within the commercial insurance sector, specifically knowledge of the London Market (Lloyd s Market experience desirable)
• Track record of delivering a high-quality product to tight deadlines.
• Well-developed technical understanding of the IFRS17 standard and the practical experience of the application of it to Financial Reporting
