Job Title: Water Meter Technician

Location: South London and Surrey (Crawley, Dorking, Reigate, Leatherhead, Walton on Thames, Kingston upon Thames, Wimbledon, Lewisham, Bromley, Swanley, Croydon, Biggin Hill, seven Oaks, Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Guildford)

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Salary: £30,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break).

About the Role:
We re looking for a skilled and customer-focused Water Technician to join the field-based team. This role involves plumbing inspections, surveys, repairs, water efficiency audits, and meter-related tasks. You'll play a key part in delivering exceptional service while upholding high safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct plumbing inspections, surveys, and repairs.
• Repair or replace internal and external water meters.
• Perform water efficiency audits and resolve high consumption issues.
• Accurately record water meter readings for domestic and non-domestic properties.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What We re Looking For:

• Essential:
• Proven experience in the water industry.
• Knowledge of Water Regulations and National Water Hygiene (EUSR).
• Full UK driving license (6 points or less).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Desirable:
• Familiarity with smartphones, apps, and online tools for job updates.
• Plumbing NVQ Level 1 and Street Works Unit 2 certification.
