120 - 175 per day (DOE) Full-time
Aspire People are seeking a Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEND school with sites in West Wycombe and Aylesbury. This school provides a safe and nurturing environment for students aged 11 to 18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The ideal candidate will be passionate, resilient, and committed to supporting young people with SEND.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to support students with SEMH needs
Create a safe and caring space for students to express emotions and overcome barriers to learning
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to provide holistic student support
Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Minimum of two years' experience in an SEND environment or similar provision
Passionate about SEND education and committed to making a difference
Resilient, patient, and adaptable to different learning environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
