Collections Specialist/ Credit Control

Office-based in Slough

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for high volume outbound and inbound calls
• Negotiate payments, arrangements and arrears management on all inbound and outbound calls
• Bringing arrears accounts up to date
• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to the customer, offering them all relevant information to allow them to understand any options available to them
• Undertake all collections activities in accordance with the required regulations; ensure treating customers fairly, in line with company policies and guidelines

Key skills:

• Previous experience within a collections or credit control role within a call centre preferred
• Educated to A Level Standard or equivalent
• Intermediate Excel and Word
• Be available to take a long term temporary role with a view to becoming permanent
• Be able to commute to Slough
• Experience in the automotive or consumer finance industry a plus
• Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
