Senior Site Engineer

Project Engineer- Stevenage

BIR currently looking for Project Engineer to work for One of our well-established RC Frame & Groundworks contractors in Stevenage. This is a brand new project will be starting 2nd week of March 2025.

Successful candidate will be interviewed immediately,

As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Carry out all QA inspections (pre-pour, post pour checks) and keep appropriate documentation.
• Ensure site has correct drawing.
• able to raise RFI, NCR etc.
• Co-ordinate with main contractor representatives with regards to inspections.
• Call off materials as requred.
• Ensure site engineers carry out works as per programme and site plan.
• Ensure site engineers using most up to date drawing (this to be verified day to day basis)

• Maintain as build records, RED Line drawings and QA documentation.

• Assist Site engineers and site team as necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this Project Engineer role, you need to be:

• CSCS card is required

• Previously worked as a Senior Site Engineer/ Senior Engineer/ Project engineer.

• Experienced in RC work and Groundwork- min 6 years.

• Must be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
