A pioneering and rapidly expanding smart buildings organisation is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Intelligent Buildings Lead to take ownership of its intelligent buildings function and help scale the business to new levels.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing the business, leading innovation, and potentially taking equity in the company, with real ownership of outcomes and a voice in strategic direction.

With a track record of delivering some of Europe s most advanced smart buildings including a landmark secure facility integrating over 21,000 data points this is a business ready to scale. The right person will help drive that growth by leading technical excellence, building a high-performing team, and playing a direct role in commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand the intelligent buildings team across engineering, delivery, and innovation

• Act as technical authority across BMS and smart building systems (KNX, ModBus, BACnet, DALI, IoT platforms)

• Oversee project delivery while identifying new opportunities to scale and improve solutions

• Contribute to commercial growth, business development, and strategic planning

• Champion a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience in building automation systems and intelligent infrastructure

• Proven leadership experience and a track record of scaling teams or divisions

• Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset
