URGENT TEMP ROLE - Facilities Assistant (Leatherhead)

Location: Leatherhead

Start Date: ASAP - ideally next week

Duration: 2 months initially, potential extension to end of year

Hours: Full-time, on-site

We are urgently seeking a hands-on Facilities Assistant to support our busy Leatherhead site. This is a great opportunity for someone practical, proactive, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You'll be working closely with our Facilities Manager to help keep the site running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• General facilities support and upkeep
• Moving equipment and materials around site
• Conducting regulatory compliance checks (fire doors, extinguishers, emergency lighting, water temp checks, etc.)
• Parcel/package delivery across departments
• Routine maintenance: topping up salt bins, clearing leaves, clearing roofs and downpipes
• Working at heights and ladder use (must be confident and capable)
• Assisting with larger maintenance projects: decorating, clearing areas, tool handling, etc.

Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable with manual work, lifting, and outdoor tasks in varying conditions
• Experience in a facilities, handyman, or maintenance-type role preferred but not essential
• Must be detail-oriented - especially when performing compliance and safety checks
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders (training/support provided where necessary)

This is a critical support role with an immediate start - perfect for someone with a hands-on attitude who enjoys variety and physical work.
