Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young learners? Academics is working with a lovely primary school in Faversham and are seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join the school's friendly and supportive team.

We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Year 5 Teacher who can create engaging lessons, prepare pupils for their transition to secondary school, and support them in achieving their best in SATs. The ideal candidate will have high expectations for learning and behaviour, strong subject knowledge, and a nurturing approach to developing each child's confidence and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Prepare pupils for SATs and ensure they reach their full potential
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and enthusiasm
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement an inspiring curriculum
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development
• Promote the school's values and ethos within the classroom and wider community

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 2
• A proven track record of raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to professional development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
