Salary: Up to £40,000 + Package

The Role:

You will be part of a dynamic team delivering planned and reactive maintenance projects in partnership with a local authority. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale refurbishment work within the social housing sector, while working for a respected contractor that offers excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management of costs for planned and reactive maintenance projects
• Preparing tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities
• Monitoring and reporting on project costs, variations, and valuations
• Collaborating closely with the project team to ensure smooth delivery

The Ideal Candidate:

• Some experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within construction, ideally within social housing or refurbishment projects
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail
• A desire to progress within a reputable, supportive contractor
• Relevant qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
