Electrical Inspection & Testing Role

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Electrical Inspection & Testing Team. The role involves supporting the Site T&I Supervisor in managing electrical testing and inspections while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with procedures.

Salary: £42,000-£44,000

Location: North London

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain electrical systems safely and efficiently.

• Identify and implement improvements in operations.

• Supervise third-party contractors, ensuring safe work practices.

• Follow company policies and complete required documentation.

• Maintain good relationships with clients and team members.

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work systems.

• Promote a strong safety culture and complete required training.

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Operations & Maintenance:

• Manage and execute planned maintenance schedules.

• Perform inspections and testing, including emergency lighting, PAT, and electrical systems.

• Identify and address equipment issues proactively.

• Maintain accurate records and statutory documentation.

• Support emergency response plans and callouts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Required:

  • ECS Gold Card Installation Electrician

  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection

  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification

• Preferred:

  • HND/HNC Electrical Qualification

  • IOSH Managing Safely

  • Experience with SAP and CAFM systems
