What You ll Do:

As a Principal Rail Engineer, you ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional civil engineering solutions for rail infrastructure projects. From feasibility studies to detailed designs, you ll play a critical role in every stage of the project lifecycle.

Lead Project Delivery: Manage and deliver rail infrastructure designs, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Innovate: Lead the design and delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects, creating solutions that balance technical precision with creative thinking.

Collaborate: Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, including geotechnical, structural, and environmental specialists, to deliver fully integrated solutions.

Mentor: Inspire and guide your team, by fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.

Engage: Work closely with clients and stakeholders, to understand their objectives and deliver above expectations.

Assure Quality: Oversee and approve design outputs, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.

What You Bring:

Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor s or Master s); Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years civil engineering design experience, focusing on rail infrastructure projects.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical considerations, and rail-specific design processes. Proficiency in software like Autodesk Robot, Idea Statika, or Tedds is a plus.

Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and guide teams to achieve exceptional results.

Problem-Solving Skill: An analytical mindset with a talent for overcoming complex design challenges.

Communication Skills: The ability to convey technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
