Estimator / Senior Estimator

One of my top clients who are a multi-disiccplined construction firm who specialise within the RC Frame / Groundworks field are looking for an estaimator / senior estimator to join their well-established estimating department.

They have a lovely, modern office with a great working environment created by the young, hungry team.

They always have a steady flow of work due to their fantastic reputation in the industry so always keep staff busy.

Responsibilities:

• Collation & review of tender documents to gain a solid project understanding
• Measurement of technical drawings using both CAD & traditional measurement methods
• Coordinate site visits with team members to understand project logistics / constraints
• Creation & preparation of bills of quantities / schedules of rates for submission to clients
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss projects / tenders & negotiate contract sums

What you need:

• 4+ years' experience
• Previous RC Frame / Groundworks experience
• Have some experience with estimating software, ConQuest, Visual Precision or similar
• Ability to be client-facing
