About the Assistant Bar Manager Role:

As Assistant Bar Manager, you ll work closely with the Bar Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the bar. You ll be hands-on behind the bar, lead by example, and help drive service excellence and a vibrant atmosphere. Whether it s a buzzing Friday night or a chilled Sunday roast, you ll be right in the heart of the action.

Assistant Bar Manager Responsibilities:

• Support the Bar Manager in all aspects of bar operations
• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team
• Ensure consistently high standards of service and drink quality
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
• Help implement promotions, events, and seasonal offerings
• Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism
• Maintain health & safety and licensing compliance

Assistant Bar Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bar supervisor or assistant manager role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beers, and wines
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach
• Personal Licence (desirable but not essential)
