Location: Central ReadingHours: 37 hours per week 5 days out of 7 (shifts between 6:00am - midnight)Contract: Temporary - 6 months

Are you a reliable, customer-focused individual with a hands-on approach? We're looking for a Car Park Customer Service Assistant to join our Network & Parking Services team and help us deliver a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all car park users.

Job Role:

• Acting as a visible and reassuring presence in our car parks
• Assisting customers and responding to queries and complaints
• Conducting regular patrols and safety inspections
• Operating parking control equipment and handling cash securely
• Liaising with local businesses and the police when required
• Carrying out cleaning, maintenance, and basic repair tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Basic computer literacy
• A proactive, practical, and flexible approach to work
• Commitment to health & safety, equality, and high service standards
