Midday Meal Supervisor - Join Our School Team!

Location: Medway & Kent Hours: (e.g., Monday-Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm) Contract: Temporary / Permanent (add as needed)

About the Role

We're looking for a caring, proactive, and enthusiastic Midday Meal Supervisors to help create a positive lunchtime experience for our pupils. You'll support children in the dining hall and playground, promote good behaviour, and ensure the lunchtime period runs smoothly and safely. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with children and thrives in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils during lunch in the dining hall, classrooms, and outdoor play areas
• Encouraging healthy eating and assisting pupils when needed
• Promoting positive, inclusive play and friendly interactions
• Providing minor first-aid support and reporting concerns appropriately
• Upholding school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times
• Supporting the smooth and safe running of the lunchtime period

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check (already hold one or happy to obtain one)
• Experience working within a school setting or with children
• Warm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
