Teaching Assistant - SEND 1:1

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Lewisham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is compassionate, patient, and eager to support children with a range of abilities across the curriculum.

• Supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to enhance learning and engagement
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons
• Helping to maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all pupils
• Providing emotional and social support, encouraging independence and confidence
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every child thrives

• Has experience supporting children in an educational, childcare, or SEND setting (paid or voluntary)
• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Holds a valid DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
• Has a genuine passion for education and child development

• Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)

• Supportive leadership and staff team
• Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
