Salary: 95 - 115 per day
Hours: Full-time

A vibrant primary school in Barking and Dagenham is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team this January. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored learning support through one-on-one and small group sessions for Key Stage 1 students.
• Assist teachers in preparing engaging and resourceful classroom materials to foster a love of learning.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all students.
• Support positive student behaviour management and encourage social interaction.
• Contribute to student progress tracking and communicate effectively with teachers and parents/carers.

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a teaching assistant role.
• A passionate and committed individual with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• A relevant qualification or a willingness to undertake training is desirable.
