Fram are working with a boutique financial planning firm in the city. They are independent and aim to provide the highest standard of advice to clients on all aspects of financial planning. The role is for a full-time Mortgage administrator supporting two Mortgage advisors, but one day a week will be working with the financial advisor team across pension, investments, and protection. Our client is looking for someone who has a mortgage admin background, a good attitude, who enjoys learning and wants to develop their career within financial planning. You will also be required to contact and liaise with lenders and providers for updates, prepare weekly pipeline reports, and assist with the preparation of client annual reviews. Our client will also help individuals with relevant industry exams if they wish to progress down the paraplanning route.Some responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process from initial enquiry to completion.
- Assist in the execution of financial transactions such as investments, transfers, fund switches, and withdrawals for clients.
- Ability to communicate with lenders, solicitor, and platform providers effectively.
- Manage and maintain office records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Process New Business applications and ensure completed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Send client communications, including updates, reminders, and follow-up messages via the Client Portal and email.
- Handle client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately input and update client information in CRM systems, financial platforms, and spreadsheets
- Build strong relationships with clients and maintain excellent communication.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that all client paperwork complies with financial regulations and company policies.
A likely candidate will have financial services administration experience in the UK preferably within a IFA or mortgage firm. Candidates must be IT literate have good communication skills and be comfortable working in a small team.
