Senior/Principal Electronics Engineer - Biomedical

Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering consultancy in the Cambridge area, that due to recent project wins is expanding their R+D capabilities by adding a senior/principal hardware engineer to the team.

You'll come in, working on cutting edge technology in the health & life-science space. Although this is the project you'll begin working on, the business also take projects on in other sectors, including; consumer, defence/security, healthcare, cellular, and energy, which are all areas you can get involved with over time.

What we're ideally looking for:
7+ years of experience working in an electronic/hardware engineering role
Exposure to the full hardware design life-cycle, taking projects from concept to production.
Experience with analogue and digital electronic design
PCB design/layout, schematic capture, documentation, as well as testing and validation.
Experience with leading projects or a small development team

It would be great if you have experience with:
Some embedded software development (C)
Working on standards-driven projects
